Carribean Calcite is a recent discovery of calcite, founded in the Dominican Republic close to the Caribbean Sea in the Los Chupaderos mine. Its appearance is a range of vibrant blues, browns and white colours reminiscent of the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, giving it is name. Carribean calcite is a form of calcium carbonate and is a combination of brown aragonite and blue/white calcite. This stone is associated with calming and soothing energies. It is believed to promote relaxation, emotional healing and a sense of tranquility.
